Conceptualized in 2020 by mother and daughter team NeCole and Skylar Cumberlander, Noir et Blanc is the first premier luxury multicultural salon in Northeastern Ohio.
NeCole Cumberlander is an industry trailblazer having spent over 30 years working behind the chair and as an national educator for Paul Mitchell Advanced Education. NeCole and husband Orlando, also own and operate Paul Mitchell The School Cleveland and Paul Mitchell The School Columbus where she also serves as Dean of Students. NeCole excels in developing rising talent and mentoring new generations of stylists to excel in their careers in a supportive and vibrant environment.

Skylar Cumberlander cannot remember a time she wasn’t immersed in the beauty industry. Growing up in the Paul Mitchell education world, Skylar found her passion at an early age. Graduating with a business administration degree from Kent State University, Skylar immediately earned her cosmetology license from Paul Mitchell The School Cleveland and went on to receive advanced training at the highly regarded Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, UK. Skylar’s international experience and subsequent time behind the chair fuels her vision for an inclusive and welcoming salon.
